Program: Economics (Logistics Service Management – The Co-op model integrated with international professional certificates)

• Logistics Service Management is a strong growth potential program and the need for its high-quality human resources is high.
• The program is accredited by FIBAA – the European standard.
• Certificated with Fiata Diploma In International Freight Management Certification accredited by FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations).
• The name and certification number will be listed on FIATA’s website http://fiata.com/about-fiata/organisation/abvt.html on ‘Diploma Files’.

• With the Co-op model (Co-operative Education), students will spend one-third of the program probating corporations which are strategic partners of TVU.
• Courses will be delivered in English or bilingual English – Vietnamese.
• Study with Lecturers who are seniors in teaching and research, combined with lecturers who are senior managers in the field of Logistics from leading domestic and foreign enterprises in Vietnam.

• Have in-depth and up-to-date knowledge in the field of Logistics according to international standards.
• Know about Logistics services and warehouse operations. Then, students will have analysis skills, and evaluate industrial opportunities and challenges.
• Have skills and ability to organize and implement practical activities and operations in the field of Logistics service management.
• Have practical working experience in diversified positions at leading organizations and enterprises in the field of Logistics.
• Proficient in specialized English to work in an international environment.
• Have “FIATA DIPLOMA IN INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT MANAGEMENT” certification accredited by the FIATA organization.

• Language: bilingual English – Vietnamese. Except, the CO-OP model integrated with international professional certificates will be taught in English.

Program time: 3,5 years (7 semesters including 3 Co-op probations)

Lecturers are seniors in teaching and research, combined with lecturers who are senior managers in the field of logistics from leading domestic and foreign enterprises in Vietnam.

DEGREES

Students, who graduate in Logistics Service Management under the CO-OP model integrated with international professional certificates, will have:

1. Bachelor of Economics issued by Tra Vinh University
2. The international vocational certificate issued by the Federation of International Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA)

- Enrollment methods: Examination; admission; a combination of entrance exam and admission.

- Entry requirements: candidates meet concurrently following conditions:

+ 1st condition: reach the threshold to ensure the entrance’s qualities and the matriculation score.

+ 2nd condition: meet the English requirements to participate in the modules of the international professional certificate lecturing by VILAS, candidates must meet one of the following criteria for English proficiency:

• At least 8.0 score in English in grade 12
• International certificates in English: PET (B1), IELTS 4.5, Toefl iBT 45, Toefl CBT 133, Toeft PBT 450, Toeic 450 or higher (no later than 2 years from the issued date).
• English certificate according to the 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework for Vietnam from level 3 (B1-VSTEP) and above in the format of adult test questions (prioritizing candidates who have a certificate of proficiency in English - VSTEP issued by Tra Vinh University).
• Have results from the English language proficiency test organized by Tra Vinh University at least0.

- Selection combination: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry); C14 (Math, Literature, Citizenship Education); D01 (Literature, Math, English); D84 (Math, Civics, English).

Scholarships for domestic students

There are 02 scholarships for students majoring in Logistics Service Management under the CO-OP model integrated with international professional certificates (Awarded to students who have not received any scholarships).

Deduct 100% tuition fee for the first semester for one student with IELTS 6.5 or higher issued by British Council (BC), International Development Program (IDP) units.

International students participate in the regular entrance examination for the academic year 2022, majoring in Logistics Service Management under the Co-op model integrated with international professional certificates

- Have not received any scholarships

Full official tuition fee of the course (including 1 year of Vietnamese language preparation, free in the dormitory) and will be considered for the next semester
